In January 2025, I had the valuable opportunity to take part in one of the world’s most prominent economic events — the World Economic Forum in Davos, Switzerland. I was honored to be invited by the UAE Government Media Office to attend as an entrepreneur and content creator specialized in economics and entrepreneurship, covering the UAE’s participation in this global forum.

Although I was not part of the official state delegation, being there with the media team gave me a close look at the UAE’s experience and presence in this prestigious event, which marked the country’s 25th participation.

Unforgettable Meetings with UAE Leaders

One of the highlights of the trip was meeting H.E. Mohammed Al Gergawi, Minister of Cabinet Affairs, whose insightful advice and forward-thinking mindset left a lasting impression on me.

We also had the honor of greeting H.H. Sheikha Latifa bint Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum and taking a commemorative photo with her — a proud moment that reflected her cultural and human significance on the global stage.

I also had the chance to briefly meet with H.E. Abdullah bin Touq, Minister of Economy; H.E. Dr. Ahmad Belhoul, Minister of Youth and Sports; H.E. Maryam Al Hammadi; H.E. Alia Al Mazrouei, Minister of State for Entrepreneurship; and H.E. Abdulla Khalfan Belhoul, along with several other senior officials across various sectors.

The UAE Pavilion… “IMPOSSIBLE IS POSSIBLE

Inside the UAE Pavilion, I experienced an inspiring atmosphere that reflected the spirit of our nation. We showcased ambitious projects like BRICS, offered guests the chance to taste locally grown Al Marmoom coffee, and enjoyed the contributions of Emirati artists presenting their work to a refined global audience. The pavilion was a true embodiment of our national motto: Nothing is Impossible.

The pavilion featured a rich schedule of discussions and dialogues, highlighting the role of our national institutions in shaping the future of the digital economy. Among the most prominent contributors was G42, the UAE-based leader in artificial intelligence and cloud computing, which showcased its cutting-edge projects in healthcare, big data, and advanced technologies.

Davos… More Than Just a Forum

Davos is not just about formal sessions — it’s a unique space where you can truly understand how the world thinks and how major decisions are shaped. I attended sessions on global economic challenges, technology, entrepreneurship, climate change, and more, gaining insights from discussions among some of the world’s most influential thinkers and business leaders.

But what struck me the most was the rare opportunity to meet such a large number of high-level business and government leaders from all over the world in one place. Davos is truly a meeting of minds — a platform for reimagining the future.

Final Reflections

I returned from this journey with a sense of pride and deep reflection. Proud of the UAE’s exceptional representation at the global level, and grateful for an enriching experience that reinforced my belief that entrepreneurship is not just about projects and numbers — it’s about responsibility and contributing to building a better future.

I sincerely thank everyone who made this opportunity possible, and I look forward to sharing the knowledge I gained with others and continuing to play my part in advancing our national economy toward greater growth and excellence.
