In April 2025, I was fortunate to be among the participants in the economic and media delegation that visited the Republic of India, coinciding with the official visit of His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai. On the second day of the trip, we had the honor of meeting His Highness, who greeted us with genuine humility and warmth—an unforgettable moment.
The journey was rich in every sense of the word. I learned a great deal from the Emirati businessmen who were part of the delegation. Through our conversations and shared experiences, I witnessed the level of ambition each of them carries to support and elevate our nation’s economy. Every discussion felt like a lesson in vision, determination, and smart leadership.
One of the highlights of the visit was the Dubai–India Business Forum held in Mumbai. The forum opened new doors to the business landscape in India and deepened my understanding of the importance of building long-term economic bridges with one of the fastest-growing economies in the world. The Indian entrepreneurs we met were inspiring in their stories, precise in their communication, clear in their ambitions, and humble despite their success.
What also left a lasting impression was the warm hospitality shown by our Indian hosts—from the official welcome to the meticulous organization of meetings and programs. Every detail was thoughtfully arranged, reflecting a sincere message of respect and friendship toward the UAE.
Perhaps the most valuable lesson I took away from this visit is the deep realization that each of us has a role to play in driving our nation’s economy forward. During those few days, I saw firsthand that true entrepreneurs don’t wait for opportunities—they create them, and they help shape the future of their country.
